I am a bit, feels like my cars all f*cked up with too many jobs building up, I'm a perfectionist and would like them all sorting but I have not got the money to sort it and the credit card has got too fat and I daren't touch it.

It's in on Thursday to have the electrical/ECU fault repairs (don't know how much that will be).

Even 'her indoors' car has some issues needed ideally before the winter.

Working hard but with no rewards for little old me at the mo

Oh well it could be worse, think of the poor Dog on the left

These:

P1404 - ECU fault / Glow Plug Control Module/Relay
P1403 - Engine Coolant Heater (radiator fan !) Wiring fault/Fan Relay/ECU fault
P1408 - Engine Coolant Heater (rad fan) Control - Wiring/ECU fault/Battery
P0221 - Throttle Potentiometer (this could be an old code because this was changed last may at a Peugeot Dealer (famous for forgetting to reset the codes)

After discussing with Foggy, it seems I could have the common D9 fan relay problems, an incorrect voltage has got back to the ECU and brought the Check Engine light on..... it's in on Thursday for the process of elimination on by one, might be a bit of faffing around but hopefully a simple fault (couple on new relays).

Then....... I've got an exhaust leak (90.00), clutch and flywheel (600.00?), a knock from the rear that's started (bush/droplink?), then she needs 2 rear tyres (200.00)and an replacement exhaust flexible pipe (120.00)

I am sick of 8 year old cars at present, I am also feeling hard done to as I am working hard but I am the worst off financialy in my family...they've all got new cars, my old man has just retired and is loaded and could easily help me but doesn't offer (and i'm not f*cking asking either).

Supa, that is really anoying when that happens, I had the same with the FTO I had just about got there replacing all of the things that let the FTO's down mechanically and BANG!!

I ended up being able to visit the thing to retrieve the 10 disc autochanger but that was all I was allowed, it was stuffed in 'dead mans yard' with all the other death traps and blood soaked interiors and looked a right shitter (I had literally only just given it the full monty with Meguires, dressed the tyres and everything).

The tyres I need are 225/55 16's for the rear of the 318tds Compact they need to be a decent make I might go to ''mytyres'' for some Toyo's I can just see it wiping out on a winter roundabout and me getting the blame for it

Anyway the Puggy is down at the shop now ready for tomorrow's fault finding so fingers crossed....

Electric wise, I was going to suggest that you reset the ECU and check all connections on the sensors, relays etc.. before reattaching the power!

You know what welts I was just going to offer you some assistance.... if you don't want to pay the bills and you want to have a go at doing the clutch and flywheel yourself I don't mind helping you !

The exhaust wont cost you £90 either.... if we do that too whilst were at it !

I don't mind offering to help if it saves somebody money and aggro.... just as long as the misses isnt around the weekends are pretty much free for me !
