The c6 at least has a different body and longer wheelbase than the c5 and the c6 did come out before the current c5 did

Would love a C6, but I do fear that they are too complicated with sensors and electrics etc.
The Belfast Citroen dealer doesn't have a great reputation either (Hursts  ).

Very nice car, still has the original interior and wheel trims. But it seems to be lacking something under the bonnet. I'm not familiar with the Triumph range of cars, but I'm pretty certain that they were equipped with some basic luxuries. Like an engine.

Another potentially classic Ford

Friend at uni had one of these, always liked the shape of them, before the "sad eyes" mk5 that followed it.

Open to sensable offeres.
How cant you notice the red line under that when typing it alerting you to the fact its spelt incorrectly.
Unless new internet browsers come with an option to set the spelling correction to 'northern ireland gumtree'.

The fiesta is cheap, but isnt the engines in them really clattery for petrols?

My very first car was an MK3 Fiesta (F reg!). It was sllloooowwwwww. Had to thrash it to get anywhere (only a 1L engine) and up any slight incline it would not go any faster than 40mph. Was smokey and I had to put oil in at the same time I put petrol in. I am guessing piston rings were shot and were burning oil.

A reliable car though and many good memories...

This is the thing about mk3 Fiestas, they're a car that it is impossible to hate.

Either you had memories of having one yourself, or fond memories of friends, relatives, partners who had one.

Getting very rare, even the mk4 "sad eyes" are a rare sight, and starting to thin out on the mk5 "focus eyes" although on my car maintenance course 2 fellas had them.

I guess corrosion got the better of them :(

Your right about the fond memories my dad had a mk1 which always drained the battery then a mk2. Which was very reliable then the metro came a mk3 was what the mechanic gave us while the metro was being a metro.
Though my dad never bought a mk3 he went for the 205
The mk4 that's a very good nickname because it is a very sad looking car must have seen the scorpio

The Mrs had a Mk2 Fiesta 950, 'twas crap, drastically underpowered to the point of being dangerous and used to dump it's transmission fluid all over the drive pretty much every night, spent more time in the garage than on the road.

I also had a Mk2 Diesel, had it given to me by a friend who was going to have it scrapped  , drove it for a few months while fettling and tidying and then sold it for £1700, 18 months later it showed up on a forecourt in town for £2295 :o
