on the topic of citroens, my fellow residents of this island seem to be still ruining good ones:

I wouldnt like to see the same happening to this one:

now that is a bargain.

No sh*t - I guess probably because it won't go over speedbumps without scraping the whole exhaust system off the bottom of the car. Maybe it failed because the exhaust is buckled, dented, and blowing.

Way to ruin a perfectly decent little hatchback

wont take a lot of work.
probably will be a really big job to fix hence why its for sale beyond economical repair.

I honestly wont be suprised if i see some car advertised like this.

2003 Vw bora TDI 150

Great condition for age, great wee runnin engene remapped profecionally by my mate to 200bhp, got new cd player, smokey exhaust dont know why but a bit of cleaning might fix that. Lowered 10cm touches the ground and looks lefal, even is lefal to drive. Passed the mot last week, and has a bit of paper wif tax innit.
Has got huge sound system, tinted windows, electric windows back one broke but easy to fix, air conditioning is great but it doesnt blow cold air, my mate fixed it and it doesnt work but it should be easy to fix.
Got burnt out last night, a bit of isopon and some selotape will have it like new, should be easy to fix.
£5000 no time wasters.

Your Bora desciption wouldn't surprise me.

The chavs are obsessed with VW Borings and ancient 316is.

There is a 316i for sale on the Ravenhill Road, it is over priced at £3500. Yet every day there is some wannabe chav at it, drooling.

The ZXs, I had a couple of ZXs, a 1.9D and a 1.9TD estate. Great underrated cars, sister to the 306. Though I never got more than £400 for either of mine :(

I've noticed a few Barried-up 316 Compacts (E36/5 style) only the chassis on the Compact was the old E36 trailing arm rear axle and isn't too clever (we had a 318tds compact :| ) still, not that this will interest Monsieur Chav once he's slapped on some over-size rimz and some bangin' ICE innit

The 3 series compact they are sh*t, no other word for it but they are really terrible, just one more way to stretch the bodystyles of the 3 series, next year dont be suprised by the 3 series van and pickup.

The whole Seat brand seems to be a bit of a magnet for those of a chav nature.

although the engine sounds like the headgaskets buggered.

That is a real bargain - 2.2 HDi with SE trim (the half-leather interior) and the white dials. And it's not in a boring silver colour

Any bets on whether this makes it onto the advert?
