I remember a few years back a sub contractor of ours had a accident with his van, and had a hire van, and paid a bit extra which meant he only had to pay £40 of any damage he did
Well, to put it mildly I think he had his £40'w worth

Burn holes in the seats , scratched bumpers etc
He genuinely accidentily clipped the front bumper, and then I think he thought sod it, and went for broke
1999 D8.5 HDi GLX - Sold :(

Well the guy collected the car; he didn't even look it over, just took the mileage and signed it off!
He was a bit surprised that I was hoovering it out when he arrived but I said that I had pride in driving it & wanted to return it tidy, maybe that gave me brownie points :supafrisk:
Anyhow; I guess there's no comeback seeing as I've got a signed check in sheet with no damage mentioned at all?

Result! Well done Teamy. 8)

I note you are a serial GDI owner. Does this mean you're recycling whatever bits Fireman Sam failed to bend?

(Just curious).
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

I wish I had to be honest but I had nowhere to store the old one.
I got £2900 in the payout which was pretty generous, there are a few jobs to do on the new one but it's generally pretty tidy, just bits of trim to replace internally.
