I wouldn't say I'm good ( well in not so many words ).... but I get the job done! lol
My old man was an engineer, my bro was an engineer and the family has always been involved with motors and mechanics.... been learning and working on cars since I was like 9.... so thats 17 years of fiddling with cars etc....

Your one of the old school, if it don't fit, make it fit!!
I lack the tools TBH, I'm not affraid of stripping stuff down but I allways figure that by the time I've bought some more kit to do the job I could just get a decent mechanic (who I know) to do it, I also lack the little tricks you need sometimes, if I changed a headgasket like you did the other week I would be affraid to take the car very far thinking that it will fail again!, funny that when someone else does a job for you it never bothers you but when you do it yourself your allways checking it's ok afterwards.
I allways do my own basic servicing, but to tackle a clutch on my drive is a major job to me.
Strangely enough I don't mind really fiddly jobs like removing the dash and the instruments to replace stupid little bulbs, jobs that many mechanics hate

Yeah kind of !
Thats ok I have two tool boxes to make sure we can get it to pieces....lol Let me tell you on my drive... I've done engine swaps.... turbo charging..... CV joints.... welding jobs.....etc....and then on to my car... I've done two turbo changes....... 1 clutch swap....cooling system renewal...... repaired an intercooler.....replaced a head gasket inc timing kit.... and various other small jobs... brakes... bushes.... drop links... etc.. etc..
I've done alot but I'm no expert... i'll try anything that comes with a manual....lol
Seriously if you fancy a saturday one weekend sorting out your clutch etc... just let me know.. i'll give you a hand ! think of it as a money saving exercise ! lol After doing the clutch you'll think its such an easy job to do ! lol well ok not quite! just think you'll save yourself £500 odd pounds !
Once I've done a job I drive the car like normal... apart from the headgasket ! if it goes wrong again... I strip it again... luckily TOUCH WOOD it doesnt ever go wrong ! and its taken some pounding like the misses! lol

Supafrisk, why don't you just wax down there...? I know my mrs walks, like I would if I was kicked in the bollocks, for a few days after the bikini wax, but results are so much smoother
The razor itself is actually quite good. Not sure which is better, this one or Mach3, but I have a feeling this one might be slightly better as the real thing in the shops would not be made out of plastic!

But the end result shaving with the grain isn't as close as it would be against. Although, I do know where you're coming fromDavva2004 wrote:I can highly recommend the Gillete Quattro Titanium used with King Of Shaves antibacterial Alphagel with Aloe, and definitely only shave WITH the grain, not against!![]()
