Re: A rare beauty
The other day I saw reversing sensors on some small Toyota - Yaris or something I think it was.Welly wrote:Tooty is our 'eye in the sky' roaming reporter - good work![]()

I mean, if they need parking sensors on a car that small, then are they sufficiently skilled as a driver?

I think they're ugly things, awaiting the day they're pinhole sized

You could try our 406.oc reversing cam mod.
Where did that guy go anyway?
I've just gone back to page 1 of this topic, it's great

Re: A rare beauty
I hated reversing the saloon and I hate reversing my coupe. with such a large distance between the rear windscreen and the boot that you can't see, it's very difficult to know how close you are to stuff.sirwiggum wrote:I mean, if they need parking sensors on a car that small, then are they sufficiently skilled as a driver?![]()

My estate on the other hand I would park within an inch of a wall every single weekday without ever hitting it.
I wouldn't mind getting an oem spoiler for my coupe for this very reason - it gives you a MUCH better idea of where your arse is, and that allowed me to park my old Laguna with the precision I can't do with my 406 now
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Re: A rare beauty
You've got me wrong, they can be justified in a car the size of a 406 or Laguna.mjb wrote:I hated reversing the saloon and I hate reversing my coupe. with such a large distance between the rear windscreen and the boot that you can't see, it's very difficult to know how close you are to stuff.sirwiggum wrote:I mean, if they need parking sensors on a car that small, then are they sufficiently skilled as a driver?![]()

But on a Toyota Yaris or Aygo or whatever it was....

You need shooting if you need them on one of those!

Re: A rare beauty
Look at those square lines not a curve in sight. (apart from toe ball and tail pipe)

Thought it was going to be a very last GTI Hurricane. My neighbours years ago were BX fans i remember him having 3 GTI's with the last one being a Green K plate Hurricane
Sadly it's a TXD, whatever that is.

My last 16 valve was a K reg
If you want more BX pics there's loads still floating around here, all either dragging on the ground or click click clicking 'cos the accumulator spheres are knackered

Re: A rare beauty
what suprises me though is that this delta is rotten, but my cousin also has an empty shell of one sitting out exposed to the weather for the last 5 years with the b pillar cut out and its still solid, then there is an intergrale its imaculate, but here is a few pictures from the same place, theres plenty of cars just rotting away:
Here is an old bluebird, it was actually my grampas old car and somehow it ended here its got its own garden on the seat:

The whole bunch:

The maestro, amazingly it has all the problems i read in an old what car review:

there is the cracked dash:

the window has put itself in, and look at them flared wheel arches:
