tyre valve LED lights.... legal?

Post by sockpuppet »

Hi there

Ive just purchased some blue LED lights for my tyre valves

http://www.solware.co.uk/customise-car- ... caps.shtml

like that, but from somewhere else.

does anybody know if these are actually legal on UK roads? would rather not trial and error and end up with a fine from PC plod.

thanks

Blue lights (other than on dibble cars) started in the 90's as a way for ghey lorrie drivers to recognise each other at night in lay bys - do you want to be sending that kind of message?

As things are so cheap in Blighty, if I was in a position where I didn't need a car that could carry dogs, garden machinery or rubbish and I didn't mind paying to have larger stuff to be delivered, I wouldn't bother with a saloon - I'd have have a coupe!
