A fun-packed weekend spent helping my daughter move from Herts back up here.
After the best part of 200 miles of congested M1 and threading my way through a few busy town centres, I'm feeling impressed and slightly humbled to see a bit of what truck drivers deal with and put up with from other road users. Picture what fun it is to be grinding up the M-way at a speed-limited 56, when some plonker overtakes, pulls in in front, then slows down. Not the most comfortable ride in the world either.

Getting back into the 406 for the final leg back from Watford, was sheer heaven.

Last time I got near one of those it didn't end well.......



I was driving her indoors' FTO and a lorry hit me in the face. Internet points awarded for spotting the country of origin of the lorriest what hit me.

It must be very frustrating piloting one of those with cars and bikes darting about all over the shop, glad you made it safely.
