If you don't want your details to appear on 192.com you should download This Form and send it to them.

I did this a couple of years ago but my details have crept back in now.

Companies can purchase the data held on their info-disk and use it for marketing purposes, even though you maybe ex-directory.

I never get any sales calls at home, and have also registered with the Telephone Preference Service.

Have a search for yourself on 192 and it will show your details AND who lives with you!!!!

That's interesting according to the records on 192 I have people living with me who i have never even heard of.

so does that mean that somebody is using my address to gain things like credit cards etc.

Heads are going to roll if i find out this true

thought originatly that the names may have been the previous owners but according to the estate agents nobody by that name has ever lived there.

not a happy teddy - but thanks for the info i can look into this now

The names should be previous owners, my current details show the people that bought my last house and are living there now, I have moved on but their names are shown now with mine

I dont think i've got too much to worry about, the address they have me under was 2 moves ago.
