Oh well, I've done this before but what the hell:
  • 1987 - a 1976 VW Golf 1.1L first car at 17, (followed by a cloud of combusted oil)
1988 - a 1982 Vauxhall Cav 1.6L (was my uncles with 26K on the clock, I was 18 then with a 6 year old motah with low miles)
1990 - a 1986 Ford Festa XR2 (19 years old, cool car really at the time)
1992 - a 1983 Vauxhall Cav SRi (bought house, good car though)
1993 - a 1993 Peugeot 106 Key West 1.5D (brand spanking new, such a gay car, stupid choice, never buy new again)
    1993 - a 1990 Peugeot 405 GR 1.9 (swapped for the 106, loved the 405, fast too)
    1994 - a 1991 Peugeot 309 GRi 1.6i (shitter)
1996 - a 1990 Ford Onion 1.6i ghia (to be fair it did not want for any maintenance)
1998 - 2000 various escrote vans from work, all brand new inc one Turbo!!
2001 - a 1993 Peugeot 605 STDT (ex works charriot, monster mileage, mucho damage)
2001 - a 1995 Shitroen AX (her indoors, kept for 4 years, very cheap)
2002 - a 1993 Honda Integra XSi VTEC (woo hoo)
    2004 - a 1996 Mazda MX6 2.5 V6 (great engine, wobbly car)
2005 - a 1996 Mitsubishit FTO, her indoors (maintenance nightmare, cheap, noisy and flimsy, then I crashed it)
2006 - a 1998 BMW 318 tds Compact, her indoors (very cheap motoring)
    2005 - a 1999 Peugeot 406 HDi (comfy cruiser, and £800.00 in repairs in 12 months  )
:cheesy:

just read this post and it got me thinking about all the cars i owned and i realised that all my cars have been peugeots  , heres my list

1996 - 1992 309 grdt . sold it cos i fancied an mi16
1998 - 1989 405 mi16 . loved that car but my dozy bint of a neighbour ( not you neil lol ) reversed into it and caused £600 worth of damage when it was only worth £750 so it was written off and i bought it back :cheesy:
1999 - 1989 205 GTI and dropped the mi16 engine into it , very very fast :cheesy: but had to sell it when i got laid off
2000 - 1993 405 stdt , my fathers old car had it when he bought his 406 ,lasted untill some muppet wrote it off when it was parked up
2002 - 1995 405 executive 2.0 . petrol engine went bang so i put the 1.9 td in there , that lasted untill i jet washed the engine and fooked most of the wiring up
2005 - 1997 406 executive 2.1td estate,my fathers car, so far 199k on the clock and its still the most comfy car i owned ( i am thinking about getting another 205 MI16 :cheesy: )

2001 Ford Fiesta (as above!!) With alloys! Wooh!
1984 Chevrolet Caprice Classic. My absolute pride and joy. 5.0 V8 Sold to finance exams I had to take

2001 Ford Focus 1.8 TD (Servicable runabout)
2003 406 HDI SE 110 (Love it almost as much as the Chevy)

That's about it :cheesy:

very easy to do to be honest , the only extra wires i needed was for the stop solenoid cos i used the wire loom from the petrol for the temp sensors and oil pressure, i only done it cos i couldnt afford a 2.0 l engine and i had a spare turbo diesel laying around lol
