Sugar in the petrol tank ought to do it. Half a tank of water, quarter tank of diesel, and a few kilo bags of sugar. Then start the engine and rev it until it dies.

Then set it on fire.

Then wait for it to finish burning.

What I always thought about doing was point a car at where two walls meet at 90 degrees, get two sticks - one wedged between the accelerator and the seat, the other wedged between the clutch and the seat, tie a (fairly long) piece of string to the clutch stick and wind the window down. Method: reach in and start the engine and, when the engine is bouncing off the rev limiter, yank out the string...

Before you suggest it, the RAV would burn out the clutch
