My Embarrasing, Sad and Disappointing moment

Post by k3nny »

I'm having a recurring bad dream with the same picture over and over again,

Sunday Morning drive with my Mrs, enjoying the slow drive until an Old beemer 318 M40 1992 (i got the year from license plate, i guess hehehe) tailgating in a disturbingly bumper to bumper distance. there is no reason for me not to floor the gas.

i noticed the bumper to bumper distance doesn't change even i have floored the gas.

guess what, it passed me like i wasn't touching the gas pedal !!. how sad is that?
i only manage to keep up by dodging traffic and brakeless turns (fortunately the pug handles really well on tight turns).

i ain't a street racer nor the fastnfurious wannabes, but it is simply a disappointing moment for my 2.0 L pug.

my car has done Air Induction Kit and Iridium Plugs while running on high octane. but still taking a very slow low end acceleration and slow throtle response.

!>_<!!!!!

have you guys experience this ? this 'itchy' feeling when you just want to catching up but the guy in front of you just giving you smoke of his tailpipe while waving 'bye bye' thru the side mirror. watching him leaving you as you are just parking in neautral ! ;p

any recommendation from you all mighty pug seniors ??!
Cars, Computers, Chicks, 3C for a complete life. add a number 6 between them then you get double pleasure. hahaha!

Nitrous oxide... nothing beats it in terms of power gained for money spent!

I know the Bimmers are geared for acceleration as they are billed as a "drivers car", whereas the trusty 406 was designed as a perfect way for Grandpa Fred and his dog to tootle on down to the coast.
