I've had my 1998 406 2.0 ST for about three years now.

I bought it with just under 70,000 kms on the clock and it's now done 120,000 kms.

Generally it's been pretty reliable except for a broken pully which was replaced about 18 months ago.

I like to have my cars serviced annually, which means every 10-15,000 kms.
