Well time has come for the ultimate test for my car. European driving! Well at least that's what I am thinking of doing in September. Or to be precise driving to Odense, Denmark. I have a friend there that I would like to visit and it gives me a week off work!... Perhaps with a stopover in Amsterdam
Just wondered whether anyone has done European driving in their 406's and what problems/costs I should expect? My insurance seems to cover Europe for 30 days but what else do I need? Is it worth getting European breakdown cover (I don't even have one for UK tho!)? That GB sticker on the back. Do I need to tell anyone I am going abroad? And I don't mean my mom!!!!
Too much Holiday time off work that's what you've got.
Well, I suppose:
Full fluid service and filters
Make sure ALL tyres are spot on
European breakdown (with recovery to UK)
Make sure Fully Comp and covers where you are going
Cars in my care:
2021 Kia Spottage 1.6 Pez Turbo Dual Clutch Gearbox Trickery
2013 Renner Twingo - donkey work
I only have a week off. I am thinking it would take me two days to get to Denmark and back (which would be the weekends), 4 days in Denmark and a day in Amsterdam... Will check out the points above

Sounds like a right laugh
Yeah....and knowing your luck miniman you'd be able to shag one of those really fit 'window ladies' and when you go to pay she will simply say ''That should be ?100.00 but I'll let you have it for ?20.00''.
