Right then!
The code lets me in, but it bleeps every 4 seconds regardless of whether its radio or cassette. Any ideas? Also, it asks for the code every time I switch it back on.
Getting there slowly!

So, all I need to do is move fuse 8 down 1 notch?

Technically it's not a fuse as there is nothing to blow, it's a shunt so is a solid connector. But yeah, you're right in what you say. It's worth giving it a go though don't you reckon?

Just opened the fuse cover and 8 had already been moved!
Thanks for your help. Not sure what to try now!

That's the normal behaviour for an incorrect code isn't it?

I thought it locked the radio out if you put the wrong code in 3 times? I may be wrong, but I remember cocking my one up and having to disconnect the battery to reset it.

Mine used to beep when I first got it, but did that fix in my link and it all worked fine after that. :? That said, I've now ripped out the standard headunit and have a Kenwood MP3 jobbie in there, just need to get the stalk adaptor and I'm laughing!

The D8 one doubles the time between when it'll let you enter a code each time you get it wrong.

All a bit strange then as it keeps letting me 'on' so to speak with the code teamster kindly got for me.
It just bleeps every 4 seconds and asks for the code again when you switch it on!

Ive read the manual this morning and it looks like Ive been entering it wrong!
I assumed I just typed in the code using the numbers 1-6 at the bottom of the head unit.
However, it looks like you enter them by pressing the arrow keys until the correct number comes up.
I tried it this way, but it kept saying error, so i think the code maybe wrong.

You press 1 then use the arrow keys to select the right number then 1 again to enter the 2nd number the same way. Do this for each digit. If you enter the wrong code too many times then you get the error code and you're locked out. Don't know how to get around that but hope you find a solution without having to pay rip-off dealer prices.

Done a little research, and to get rid of the error code just leave the radio on while you drive and eventually it will disapear and you can put the code in again.
