front left speaker

in a D8 98 GLX estate
when listening to the radio, or a cassette

, the front left speaker works fine.
but when i switch 2 the cd autochanger, it goes really quiet.
have tried adjusting how biased the output is, but it still dont improve. all the other speakers am fine tho

bugs me that it works anyother time, just not when listening to CDs.
It isnt on overdrive either as its the same when i 1st turn it on
help please

Sounds like a loose plug/corroded wire/poor connection.

Looks like you will need to do some dismantling
