I'm looking at replacing the Pug's Clarion Cd player as its stopped reading discs,
Going to go for my favorite brand of Sony , is there anything i need to be aware of, before i considered taking the old unit out.
I know i'll need the fascia kit, and adapter/patch lead, but want to check see if there issues that i should be careful to avoid
Anything i should be aware of?

Re: Anything i should be aware of?
Hi, I would check out Connects2 or a Yatour system.
I am not one for gadgets etc, but these just plug into the yellow CD player port in the back of the stereo and you can plug in an Mp3 player / mobile phone instead..
This also keeps the factory look too, which I always prefer.
Check them out on eBay or similar to see how they work.

ok just found a couple,
Peugeot 406 - 2002 onwards with RD3 head-unit by VDO or Clarion
Any reason that these won't work on the 2000 models?
