Nav Display

Will a standard mfd display plug and play in place of a sat nav display in a 2003 406? Will a 2 button display from any year car work?The reason I ask is that I have bought a 2003 406 est to sell on and it has a perfect nav display but the nav doesn't work so I was going to take it out and perhaps sell it on and replace it with a standard display.

Not tried it myself, but by all accounts they're interchangeable.

Goodo,i've got to try and get one before weds as I've sold the car and it gets picked up then, seems a shame to let it go with an absolutely perfect nav display when the nav won't work and the chap buying the car wouldn't know the difference anyway.

I'll let you know how I get on,I might possibly keep it as a spare for mine but not sure, that's all depending though if I can get a basic display before weds.

Wish I had known that, bought a secondhand proper display and that's beginning to fail now, vertical lines appearing, and I don't use the satnav.
