Try this Paul, if you haven't already....
Get PP running,
select "Replacement Parts"
then "Radio"
then "Configuration"
then enter your VIN in the boxes
then F1 to configure new VIN into radio

Hope that works for you

Thanks for all your help & effort Mark,
I have tryed this combo & a lot of others but nothing seems to work :( , I will keep persevering but I am runing out of Ideas / enthusiasum.
I think there must be a underlying fault that made it start bleeping in the first place.
I have checked my model no off the stereo case it's, PU-2473A (B) & that is the correct stereo from the factory I beleive.
But when I connect pp2000 & do a global test it comes up:

Warning: ECU FITTED TO 307 AUTORADIO.

Then it say's:

INCORRECT MATCHING OF THE ECU (incorrect engine, system or vehicle). FIT A CORRECT ECU.

 what ever I've tryed up to now will not stop this comming up.
Any Ideas Paul.
p.s do you think it could be a prob with my B.S.I
