Very easy to remove.

Grab the universal radio pins and straighten them out a bit - there is only one hole on each side.

Pins in, wiggle, pull, wiggle, pull and out it comes :)

Hi KozmoNaut,
I did reply to your message but can't find it now  , anyway no that's not my unit, mine is just like the one that V6Eexc has posted, but a single disc player with multiplay function button.
Don't know if it ever had one fitted ( multiplayer) :!: , I don't fancy messing around with resistor's ect: just wanted plug in & play. Have been looking at a CTVPGX010 on ebay & was going to go down this route, but contacted the seller & he said i might have to use pp2000 to get it to work  , I don't want to fork out for pp200 just for that!!!!!
Many thanks for your effort's Paul.

I had my friendly local Peugeot mechanic unlock the function for DKK100 (around a tenner in UK money), quick and easy.

there are plenty with pp2000 - well worth investing in anyway.

Post up your location and Iam sure someone close by will be able to help

Hi, this is an oldish topic, but I'd like to fit the connects 2 CTAPGUSB010 USB player, I've read the line in installation where it said I should connect "VPGX010 to programme vehicle in the following models:" The VPGX010 is the simpler analog audio minijack audio in cable. The question is, does plugging in one of these activate the head unit to recognise a CD changer? Am I right in saying that this device is then removed and the connects 2 usb device is plugged in and will also be recognised. Otherwise, if I plug in the Connects it will not be recognised, unless I pay a visit to a Pug techhie who will activate the CD on the unit via OBD (in exchange for a quantity of moolah). Second question, if the VPGX thing acticates Cd on the head unit, does it also activaet the display to show albums, tracks etc? If all the above is correct, I suppose buying the analog device just to activate the Cd setting might be cheaper than a visit to a Pug dealer., I could always sell it again

Can anybody remember exactly how to enable the CD autochanger in PP2k?

I'm actually trying to do it on a 52-plate 206. Enabled it in the BSI but no joy and I can't see any settings anywhere else.

I know it's different on different cars; I'm looking for clues as to anything I might have overlooked...

Current: 407 2.2 HDi 170 & C6 2.7 HDi.
Former: 406 1.9 TD; 406 HDi 90; 407 2.2 160; 307cc 180; 508 HDi 140.

It's somewhere in the dealer services or one of those other daft options not in the ecu config (for my 307)

Dammit, I did mine a few months back, I took screenshots and everything, and then deleted them when I changed my laptop

It's under something like dealer options, or accessories, something like that. Have a squint about, it's there. Somewhere...
