Hi john,
The cd playe'rs in the lags are abit iffy, (normaly dust related )
if youve got the code for it, take the unit out remove metal lid, and clean the lens. Cotton buds and meths or surgical spirits normaly works,

Has yours got the plastic pocket in above the radio?
if so pull that out,

then you will be able to get your hand at the back of the radio, just put preasure on the back of the radio and it shouid pop out
less Damage that way,

or get apalette knife, and put it in the side of the radio and release one side at a time and push the radio out,

Small allen keys,

ididnt have any problem removing the radio on the lags ihad, never used the keys,

iirc the side plastic ends at each side of the radio pop out, once there out you can get something in there to press the clips in,

Ipersonaly dont think the standard Cd radio's in the lags are any good,

Iput a double Din touch screen unit in the last one ihad,
its a Straight fit, no cutting or adapting needed,

You can pick up a Double din,Sat nav -dvd everything built in for around 100 quid if your not fussed about the Makers name,
