so no one could answer my question
so will try another way
does anyone have the wiring diagram for the cd player
ie what wires do the sound etc
if they work that way

i dont think any of the cd changer wires do the sound.
the changer users your head unit as a amp
but i could be wrong

a d8 unit uses a din socket but a d9 uses indivual wires but i dont know what does what.
i do have a spare unit here

Sorry should of said it is a d9 and i have a unit that works was hoping to do what this lad has done
