D8 multichanger, what headunit?

Post by StevieboyTD »

Been fiddling with the factory HU in my D8 exec. I've got the multichange in the back but i can't see where it plugs in to the HU.

Is there a round socket type thing? Has somebody fitted the wrong HU at some point in it's life (it's a factory pug unit)?

Or does the changer talk to the HU with some other mystic method that i'm not aware of?

Cheers

the head unit is connected by a cable that plugs into the back of the head unit think its called a din plug.if you need to remove the cable its a pig of a job as it runs under the carpet..

Looks like some clever bugger has fitted a basic tape HU then, there's no round socket on the back of the stereo that was fitted.
