Sat Nav

Post by panadero »

My 406 2004 SE came to me without remote control. Anyone know where I
can get one because the local dealer says he cannot supply one. Also when I reconnect the battery
the radio works. No code needed whereas in my old 306 I needed the code. I do not have the code
for my 406 anyway but it does not seem to matter. The radio comes back on but the central display is back to default. I suspect that the remote is required to update it. Any comments please?

Yep, looks like you need the remote dildo thing to do anything with the display. That's a pain. Btw the handbooks are here http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com/dd ... _en_us.htm if yours has been deleted.

the remotes come and go on ebay, but there is nothing to go wrong with them.
But really the mfd is not cheap, i already got one broken one, if they are untested its a polite way of saying lines down it.
