"Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence.
"Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.

yes it will sound ok. but with the rear of an estate being so big and open you do loose sound pressure
even in a saloon you loose sound.

the best possible car for audio is a hatchback :cheesy:

Why on earth would you put a power cap in the system? They're designed to flatten your battery and nothing else!

me ?

nah they dont flatten the battery . ive had mine full volume many times with engine not running..

a power cap only works when the power supply suffers with voltage drops.
so it only works at high volume levels, and does nothing when volume is low...

ive always had a power cap never once had a battery problem with it in...

it keeps enough juice flowing to the amp powering the subs only when the car battery cant keep up.

as ive said before tho on this forum power caps is a subject i stay away from.

theres many different views about them . sum people like them sum people dont..

the fact is they make no difference what so ever to the sound . but they do supply the system with extra power when needed.

my cap has LEDs on and they flash and pulse when the cap is in use.. when the volume is low they never flash .
turn the volume high and they start to flash dedecting voltage drops coming from the main battery .

£29.99 for a 4 gauge kit ? seriously ?

autoleads essentials , perfect kits .. less than half that cost .....

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AUTOLEADS-4-GAUGE ... 563fceabc8

but i agree with jamjar you definately dont need 0 gauge. i have 2 of :arrowu: autoleads kits baought from that ebay seller.
but with upgraded RCA leads . i use stinger RCA leads....

it depends what power that amps can do. real RMS watts not music power watts .
my 2nd amp that runs the components and 6x9s is only 60watts RMS per channel .
i only use 8 gauge power cable on that amp (not changed it to the other 4 gauge)
because there is no point..

60 watts rms x4 is my 2nd amp = about 800 watts in music power (we call them mickey mouse watts)
300 watts rms x2 is my 1st amp = about 3000 mickey mouse watts

always look at the RMS power and ignore were it says 4000 watts ..
beleive you me 50 watts RMS is a lot ..

what amps are you using ?

if hes running 2 amps its better to run 2 power cable .

your kit has a 4 gauge cable split into a block .... not ideal really..

plus 2 of them kits i posted is still cheaper than your kit

2 power cables is better than 1 thats split ....

plus there is plenty room for 2x 4awg cables ...
