sort my stereo i will pay

Post by nixesteve »

hey anyone fancy sorting my stereo out. iv ruled the hissing noise down to the fact that the d9 comes with amp in boot as standard so aftermarket headunit causes hissing all the time!!

if you can fix this problem please let me no asap. obviously i will pay for the work
Hope to hear from you all
Thanks

remove the amp and install a better one with decent leads ...

them standard amps are probably crap anyway . all standard radio gear was crap 10 years ago

:arrowu: just a thought,
is there no way you can splice in a Ground loop isolator to the existing amp wires ?
ive had too use one on my old merc as that had a hiss but thats running through rcas into the amp,
dont know what out-puts are on these jbl puggy amps personaly but if you couid patch in a ground loup isolator that shouid take away the "Hiss"

ive never seen one of these puggy Jbl amps so icarnt picture wether its do-able

altho theres gotta be away too add some sort of suppressor or something to reduce the output level on the market, :|

You need a stereo which can output at very low levels

Either that or a speaker-ISO-to-RCA adaptor and some ground loop isolators... if you can fit all that in...

when i put the clarion cd player in the sound was too loud, it hissed so i put on something that turned down the volume, 2 of them and it worked. but with the pp2000 now i think i can adjust it on the computer anyhow.
