99 406 estate radio advice

Post by Floodys »

Hi, this is my first post on here as just brought a 406 hdi estate '99 it came without a stereo and just want a few questions answered, it has the normal iso plugs for power/speakers/ stalk etc, I also notice that there is another cable, I think it connects fo something to make the digital display work, ATM all I have with no radio is the outside temp!
I have 306's and stereo that will fit the 406 with the above slots for the plugs, I don't think the stereo wil accept the "other" cable? So if someone could let me know where that cable should plug too that would be great!!

Many other posts to come regarding new wheels tyres etc etc

Found a 6 disc changer in the boot when poking around so one of the leads must be for that! Now thatbi have found out from the forum that I don't have the computer/mpg thing, I'll just put in a aftermarket cd player! Cheers all
