the vw is an sdi so its useless even if it was good, but its actually a complete write off, the 405 was acceptable at one time but probably had a problem to end up there, and the red car is a mercedes benz 300d it had no problem except it was a mercedes benz with a manual gearbox, and probably also a burst radiator, and in a generally terrible condition.
the green bluebird is probably the most likely to work bar the 405.

90bhp no way, them things are 70bhp max, they are non turbo charged diesels, the only reason we buy diesels these days is because they have turbos which makes them quicker than their petrol equivilants, with no turbo you might as well have a 205 N/A xud. the merc has 330,000 miles. Its bodywork is rust free, the best thing to do to it would be to transplant an auto box into it, and a bit of t cut to shine it up.

the red car has already been mentioned, but just because its been insulted by getting called a vauxhall here it is:

a mercedes benz 300d manual, low spec no leccy windows, or leather seats, which my 250d did have. but its in reasonable condition, id say £1000 and the old merc could be put back on the road, needs a big scratch in the bonnet taken out also, and a slushbox needs put in there.

perhaps a bit more just from looking at it i can say it needs some parts that have been removed from it. Its got 4 steel wheels because the alloys are on some other mercedes, it would need a radiator, probably new hoses, the manual box is too sticky so an auto needs put in, it needs a vacuum pump for the power steering, the brakes would need sorted, the mercedes logo has been ripped off the grille, the wood bits of the dash have been ripped out and are probably in some other mercedes, the cortesy light and sun roof controls are removed, it needs an exhaust. So getting all that and fitted at under £1000 youd be doing well, merc parts although they are of a high quality are not cheap.

why an irish number plate they all go year-county-4 digits, eg 04-DL-4312 they all follow that layout. NI plates are just like yours over in england without your way of finding out the year which i dont understand.
