refitting original cd

Post by marcus »

Hi I just bought a second hand clarion that came from a 406. When I put it in mine all I get is power to enable the cd to insert/eject. It doesnt play or display. I may have been sold a duff unit or maybe the leads are the issue. Previously I had an alpine HU. On taking this out I was left with wires to two plugs each with eight sockets. These fitted the clarion but there was no plug to go into remaining 9(20) pin socket should there be? BTW can someone tell me how I upload images as a photo would be much clearer! Thanks

as i understand it should work but will emit a beep each 15 secs and that is why it needs to go to Peugeot. However, i get nothing but some power...no display or sound
