2 quetions what sort of radio is it, and what did you use to put the songs onto the sd card ie drag and drop, i tunes, windows media player or something else
Re: SD card wont list mp3s alphabeticaly on my headunit
was just dragging from my documents into the drive, is there a better way? and ive sorted it now using a program called drivesort which puts it in order, although its a pain having to use this program once ive dragged the files onto the drive, dunno if theres another way?

try just syncing what you want with windows media player or itunes it usually puts them in order and sorts out the id tag.

Re: SD card wont list mp3s alphabeticaly on my headunit
today i found out by reading my alpine instructions that its the head unit that plays them in the wrong order
i made a cd yesterday to play in the car and it shuffles all the songs ,
when i put in pc its all in order
so its the actuall radio that is the problem, nothing you can do thats just the way they play

This sounds familiar, do a google search for an mp3 tag editor, you'll find the mp3 tag differs from the filename.
