D9 CD player into a D8 cassette

hello there,


would it be possible to fit a D9 clarion single slot CD player into my 1996 D8 LX which is fitted with a phillips cassette player? im gussing the wiring is totally different and no doubt peugeot pointlessly changed something so small itll make the whole thing not work! i was going to fit an aftermarket but id rather put in a standard peugeot player , ive looked high and low for a D8 CD player but ive not found one but if i do come across one would that just simply plug and play?

D9 radios/cassette/CD`s are coded to the cars wiring/ecu,no no you cant fit 1
