I have a W 2000 406 V6 estate, where is the amp located, my rear speakers don't work, do I have a missing amp?, also can adjust bass and treble but not speaker right left balance or front rear. ?

the amp on a saloon is in the boot on the right (opposite side to teh cd changer, but hidden behind carpet. would expect it to be in similar place in the estate.
The amp runs all the speakers, not just the rear so wouldn't have thought its at fault. worth checking the connections on the head unit, amp and rear speakers thou.
i never messed with the balance on mine but think it worked!
