Hi Lozz.
I purchased some 'poorboys- black hole' polish for my car. It goes on quite nice, easy to rub off (snigger) and still looks good after a year with only one wash. I'm sure Sam or J (waxman) can give you good recommendations.

Yes, get this stuff!

It fills in light swirls and gives a really deep gloss.

However, it's not a polish or a wax or a sealant.

You may want to polish first -- if you're brave -- to actually remove some of the swirls and imperfections.

After polishing is the time to apply the Black Hole.

Finally, you need a wax or a sealant. I'm using Bouncer's Fortify from waxman on here, which is quite a hard wax: it's hard work to apply but it lasts very well.

Current: 407 2.2 HDi 170 & C6 2.7 HDi.
Former: 406 1.9 TD; 406 HDi 90; 407 2.2 160; 307cc 180; 508 HDi 140.

Thanks guys..much appreciated.

I've orders the black hole.. £50. Ouch.
I've also orders the blue velvet..I plan to use both.

I picked up a kit from halfords too ..some turtle wax stuff designed for black cars.
Black box. (Gamble) I guess.

I bought some blue wax for the old yoyo, can't remember the brand (something German) but it's supposed to hide all the scratches, of which the old yoyo has many. All it did was turn all the scratches from white to light blue, so they still stand out, but it did turn my hands a nice dark blue

I've used something similar before..I think it was sonax.
Which was good stuff..trouble is the rain seems to wash it away after a week or so.
It'd be good if they made some sort of sealant to go with it..

I only paid £18 for a big bottle...http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/POORBOYS-WORL ... xykmZTLFFA - this is why I recommended it...

Rich, I didn't realise it wasn't a polish, looks good anyway and I guess it could do with another layer before winter - I've also got the Bouncers wax from 'Waxman' to try out still.

Well the polish was good ..its lasted pretty good.
But all this rain we've had as washed it away..

Had a lucky find..in the spare wheel well..
Found half tub of zymol concourse glaze..wax stuff
Don't know how old it is..
Does car wax go off..? Anyone know..

I priced the stuff up on a website it seems shockingly expensive..

BTW..fwiw..the kit igot from halfords / black box..
I've used abit out of it..its OK for quick detailing but it seems hard work for what it is..
If anyone wants it for free..send me pm.
