FUSE BOX

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

FUSE BOX

Post by MULTIMENTAL »

Hi everybody.

I want to disable my central locking by pulling the fuse but the diagram in the handbook shows 5 rows of fuses and I only have 4. The A-F fuses don't appear to be in the driver's side compartment or under the bonnet. Where else can I look.

Hi there :cheesy: There are some fuse diagrams here http://www.peugeotlogic.com/#fuses b ut if you can't find what you're looking for get back to us, we'll need your RPO/DAM/build code 'cos it varies quite a lot...

Ha! Had the car 7 years and never noticed that label before. The build code is 0892889.

Last of the semi-mux D9's. Your looking at the last 406 fuse panel option on Peugeot Logic - http://www.peugeotlogic.com/fuses/fuses406/fuses9.htm

My memory's getting a bit fuzzy these days but I think the last row on the diagram is the 5 fuses on the BSI itself.

Cheers. That's what's listed in my handbook. So it's fuses A-F that I'm having trouble finding. When you say that they're located on the BSI, where's that? Sorry if I'm being thick. 😊

That's probably not worth it, they're now watermarked to feck unless you pay.

Oh! A-F, now I get it, I should have realised, sorry. Umm it's kind of over and behind the fuse panel, err, somewhere. It's been a few years...

afaik, fuses A...F are not in the BSI box but in the fuse panel in front of it: the "fascia" fuse box.

See https://www.autogenius.info/peugeot-406 ... x-diagram/ : bottom row.
