Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

The air conditioning error is as described, the temperature sensor in the evaporator, (within the heater assembly), is faulty or disconnected. You maybe able see the actual indicated temperature on one of the engine ecu parameter pages, (you definitely can on a diesel).

The other one is unfamiliar to me - no experience of petrol engine 406's, but I would guess it's an emission control device similar to an Omega I had ages ago. It had an electric motor driven pump to force air into the exhaust manifold. The purpose was to help heat up the catalytic converter after a cold start. My guess is whatever does this job on your 406 has a fault, (fuse maybe)?
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Thanks mate.. But the fault is intermittent..likewise the temperature sensor can be responsible for my AC misbehaving..like the compressor never recycle automatically ..when the compressor turns on it works continuously until I off it manually from the switch... My cooling engine fan never runs high.. Cam that temperature evaporator be the problem..I want to relate it...

I mean can the temperature sensor in evaporator be responsible for my AC misbehaving.. It never recycle n goes of automatically, not until I turn it off manually? I want to be sure before I start looking my dashboard.. And where is Exactly the temperature sensor in evaporator located ?
