Wiring in a tow bar

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

The car I removed mine from was professionally fitted & that was scotch locked into the lighting circuit .

To keep it legal you need a light or audible sounder to confirm the trailer indicators are working.

Easiest route is am aftermarket buzzer like this, (just the first one I found at random) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-To ... 0826212148
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

I bought a V6 estate with a factory fitted tow bar but looking at thw factory wiring it looks a tad hard to replicate. My motorfactors sold me A smart relay box. Seems to Beep If a trailer is attached, it needs a permanent positive

Anyone used BH15A from the left hand light cluster? It seems to not be used and looking at SEDRE diagrams it doesnt go through the bsi

Just checked through my old posts,
It's terminal 4 on the near side, pop a 20amp fuse into holder 15

As I said mine was removed from another car which it had been fitted to by the after market company Towsure.
