Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Fuse panel image

Post by piglet »

In the 10 years I've had the car I've never had fuse problems.
Cars now blowing dipped beam bulbs and now it would seem a fuse.
Haynes manual has a drawing for a 'Passenger fuse panel'
But all I can find is a small one N/S in the engine bay which I assume is engine management.
And a larger panel over the drivers feet, but that is nothing like the one in the Haynes and doesn't have any numbers.

Haynes says dipped fuses are 31&32 for what it's worth.

Thanks

I think the Haynes diagram is for another model.

My manual, page 44 says it's the engine compartment fuse box, fuse no. 9 for left-hand dipped beam lights, and no. 10 for right hand. Both 15 Amps.

I think this is the one you have: http://www.autogenius.info/peugeot-307- ... x-diagram/ (scroll down to "Engine compartment fuses fuse box") , also found here: http://www.autogenius.info/peugeot-206- ... x-diagram/ (the second one, after "OR").
