Dav Comm Problem

Hello everyone

Having a bit of a nightmare with a Dav Comm plunger replacement. Unfortunately when pulling out the indicator stalk I pulled a bit too hard and the wire from the headlight switch pulled out from the inside of the stalk. I couldn't see how to get inside the stalk so put everything back together, the new Dav Comm plunger works well and the lights work on auto lights. So does anyone know how to get inside the indicator stalk to refit the small wires??

Although this is for a 307 it looks exactly the same as the one on my 406 - does anyone know if there are any variances in these stalks?
