2000 406 Radio wiring
My radio was recently stolen, and i do not have any idea of what all the wires are for? I assume the white block plug are for the speakers. I would really appreciate if someone could tell me what the others are for , i.e. the red, purple, yellow, two whites?? etc I can't seem to find a proper explanation or even a wiring diagram anywhere.
Re: 2000 406 Radio wiring
people still steal radios? was it original or an after market one?
The white is the speakers ISO connector, the Blue / green yellow block is CD changer and something as for the rest they should be connected to a black ISO connector.
Is this any use: http://www.eurovox.com.au/downloads/Eur ... olours.pdf
EDIT:
Just pulled mine and there an awful lot of white wires with codes on them

Re: 2000 406 Radio wiring
Hi, I recently replaced my cars standard radio/cd player, I replaced it with a Sony unit from halfords with.aux, and USB in. Works really well on the cars standard speakers.
As for the connectors the stereo came with the standard black connector block which connected to the cars radio wires (connector block)
The.only bit I don't have working is the steering wheel control's. I can live without that. (the brown connector block) as the adapter was quite expensive IMO.
Hope this helps
