Sidelight problem

Sidelight problem

My 1996 1.9TD Executive has developed a strange problem with the sidelights. The front passenger sidelight and rear drivers sidelight won't come on. The bulbs, fuses and plugs have been checked, and all seem fine. Does anyone know what else could be causing it?
