Keyfob Batteries

Post by Matt406 »

Hello. Could someone tell me the right way to put the batteries in the keyfob (1999 406 - 2 button remote) I have got two CR1620's and a circular metal disc. there is + on the key side of the casing so i put one battery + side down, then the circle thing, then another battery + side down and now the red LED doesnt even light up. Am I doing it right? Thanks, Matt.

Yeah the fob worked ok before. I have ordered some new batteries just incase it is them. I have got them round the right way with the metal disc thing in between them. I presume this is just to bulk them out a bit so the case and contacts connect. Thanks for your replies I will let you know when I try some other batteries. Matt.
