I take it the driver's seat moved when you press the switches? If not, could be a fuse.
If it moves normally except when you pull the seat forward, then it's a microswitch in the seat that's your problem. I found this for you in the 406 coupe forum. You'll have to join up to view it, but it's free and their a friendly bunch and you'll have the answer to all sorts there.
