Hi, I've just joined the group as have recently purchased a 406 Rapier estate with 2.0hdi engine.
Its an 02 plate with just 75K miles and in nice condition for age.
I'm checking it over and have given it a full service and was checking rear brakes when I spotted a loose connector hanging down by rear of the the fuel tank.
I'm not sure how to post a photo but its a grey connector with purple insert for two wires.
All electrics appear to work including fuel gauge so at a lose to where it should connect to

What is this connector for?

Likely to be for the eolsys setup which is on all 2.2 Hdi's but only on the last of the 2.0 Hdi's.
Nothing to worry about![😁](//twemoji.maxcdn.com/2/svg/1f601.svg)
