PP2000 in Diagbox

Trying to use Diabbox on a 406 cant use auto detect and cant find a way to run PP2000

Hi, sorry but I've never used Diagbox, only stand alone PP2000....

If you are only doing cars that are pre-2010 then PP2000 is more than adequate - bin Diagbox and stick to PP2000.

Can you suggest anywhere to download it?

I'm not sure, my set up came with 2 CDs, Diagbox and PP2000.......
Maybe available online, you only need the program......

I have just got myself the lexia / PP2000 kit with the discs and tried an online guide to install it. Seemed to install fine, but on connection to the car, after the ignition 'On' step, it says 'identification - 10' under reading ecu's and then when 'ok' d it shows only few options to indentify, read faults, clear, and some measurements which appear half empty.

I will try to reinstall windows xp and install using the software I found on the above link.

Any tips on how to use PP2000 or what to expect on the reading ecus page will be helpful. thanks

I managed to figure out the issue, it was selecting the wrong 406 version in the tool... Haven't yet tried installing diagbox though. just lexia with pp2000 23 something version.

Diagbox works fine on the 406 and other older models, if you attempt to connect it actually runs PP2000 within Diagbox, on newer cars it's all just the Diagbox interface.

Thanks. So is it ok to have both of them installed on the same laptop but use one at a time?

No point having both installed, only need one or the other as PP2000 is within Diagbox for older cars anyway

You can't have both unless you have a partition in your drive, or a VM software programme - as Diagbox will delete the PP2000 files upon installation.....
