electric seats with memory retrofit

Hi, i just bought me a set of electric leather seats for my 406, that has memory. How hard is it to convert my standard manual seat adjustment 406 to electric memory?

I don't know anyone who bothered wiring the memory ECU to electric seats. Everyone simply wires the switches directly to a 12v power source - cutting away the ECU.

Nobody bothers with the memory ecu because it won't work without the position memory mirrors and associated wiring loom.

You will need;

Door mirrors, electric window switch, ECU, looms in the doors and all the hidden loom bits that are fitted under the carpets that feed to the replacement parts, that a standard car hasn't got.

Just swap the switches and enjoy heated leather, without the faff of the memory mirrors going haywire....

I have 4-5 or something unused connectors attached under my seat, what are these for? They just disappear under the carpet

They are;
Yellow - seat power
Big Brown - Heated seats
little blue and little brown are the air bags and pre-tensioners
If there is a white one, its a dummy.

Yes, you only need some switches from a cloth electric seat - and some patience.

If you really want the memory seats, I don't think I can help with the electricery side / ECU etc, sorry.

I'm breaking a car with memory seats so if you want any help with what wires go where etc I'll try to help as at the moment it's all in situ.
