Hi all , after even starting to dream about this goddamn airbag warning lamp and looking thru' various posts , am i right in thinking that it's the orange connector in the photos thats causing the grief and if i cut the connector off and solder the connections together then problem solved ????.

Also does anyone know what the red one is for as it has a couple of wires going in but nothing coming out ?????????.

BTW the photos are from underneath the passenger seat.

Are there any numbers printed on the wires? They could be looked up in the Haynes.

I want to work out what's what on mine, but my bad back is stopping me at the moment
