The slower the engine is turning, the more of a beating they get. Starting and stopping the engine gives the DMF it's toughest challenge.

At least we don't have engine stop-start systems to gaurantee problems. :roll:

That's why I asked him because he does short journeys!
The 5 pots will pull hard from 1100rpm so it's quite easy to unintentionally labour them.

Don't you think you should come to PugFest Welly?

Tell that to Mrs Welly who upon here first 'go' in the car pulled out onto a main road in 3rd Gear :shock: ....it just hauled itself along somehow....that's when she said it had a 'cronky gearbox' :roll:

I would like a 'meat' at some point but I'll be too dead from other commitments on that same weekend.
