I've got this nasty stone chip on the bonnet:
Which as you can see from the reflection of the carport roof is actually dented inwards quite badly...
I've got the right touch up paint for it but was wondering whether I should be trying to push it back out a bit before painting. I've taken the bonnet liner off for a look and (as always) it's right on a strengthening rib, so I can't get right behind it

. What do you think?
