Estate Boot

Does anyone know what is behind the cover in the boot, im thinkin of puttin a sub-woofer in there. just asking if anyone has taken it off before. Its the actual boot 'door'

The inside trim on the bootlid? Mainly the lock mechanism and the wash/wipe motor. There's holes for a couple of 6" speakers already there, it's something like 4-5" to the outside which probably means you can put something bigger in but I doubt if you've got room for a decent sub. The lock mechanisms will buzz like crazy too.
