will the ashtray unit from d8 fit a d9

as title,i am going to the breakers tomorrow for a window switch unit and fancy a walnut effect ashtray unit so are they model specific or can i get one out of an older model and put it in mine.

never actually tried it, but as far as I know they're the same....

If the front seats from a D8 won't fit a D9 then I reckon all bets are off...

black ashtray is part 7588R3 on both D8 and D9.... so it'll fit
